Gene V. Milowicki is the Director of the Aerospace Resource Center and the Director of Aviation Programs at the College’s Aviation Center of Excellence (a.k.a. Cecil Center South) at the Cecil Commerce Center. A U.S. Navy veteran, he served as a Naval Flight Officer and a Submariner over a career spanning 28 years. He came to the College in August of 2009. With over 2000 hours and over 400 carrier arrested landings (traps) in Navy jets such as the S-3B Viking, F-14B Tomcat, and F/A—18 Hornet, he is an expert on carrier naval aviation, and passionate about things that fly. An airplane owner, commercial helicopter pilot, and helicopter flight instructor, he is most happy in the air, with his favorite activity being to take others up in both airplanes and helicopters. Gene earned his Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, and his Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy. |

Thomas W. Baine, V is the Program Manager for the Aerospace Resource Center. Tom served for 12 years in the Florida Air National Guard (USAF) in the operations resource management field. He has extensive experience in airline operations management and in-flight service management in his 17 years of employment with a major U.S. airline. Tom was raised in an aviation-oriented family, and he learned to fly in high school. He has earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Leadership from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of North Florida. |

Jim Mitchell is the interim Program Coordinator for the Aerospace Resource Center. Jim served as a lieutenant colonel and maintenance officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, and worked for several aerospace companies over the years. He also serves as an adjunct professor at Florida State College at Jacksonville in the aviation maintenance program. Jim has a Bachelor of Science degree and an FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification. |

Alexis Wagner is the Assistant Coordinator for the Aerospace Resource Center. Alexis is a graduate of the Air Traffic Control program at Florida State College at Jacksonville and has been selected by the FAA to work at the Miami Air Traffic Control Center. |
